What is an Active Asset Model?
Active Asset Models are defined by your plan to meet the goals of different types of investors such as conservative, moderate or aggressive investors. Models themselves define how much of an investment is allocated to each fund in order to attempt to meet those investment goals. Additionally, these models when selected automatically set up your contribution allocation and an ongoing transfer to align your account balance to the model allocations on the plan defined frequency. Model definitions are subject to change by your plan at any time. If a model definition is changed by your plan, your allocations and ongoing transfer will be automatically adjusted to match those new plan definitions.

1. If you select an asset allocation model, your investment will be spread among that model's asset classes. If there is more than one investment option in an asset class, your allocation to that asset class will be divided among these options on an approximately equal basis. Some of the investment options available in your plan may be associated with asset classes that are not represented in the models. If you want to include any of these investment options in your allocation, please click Select My Own Investment Options above. This will allow you to view and select all investment options available in your plan. In applying models to your particular situation, you should consider all of your assets and all of your spouse's assets, including IRAs, mutual funds and other qualified plans.
